Project: Product Description
Client: Blush and Bold Collective
Audience: Demographics are women ages in their late 20s with middle-class income interested in drinkware and gifts that are quirky, sassy, and bold.
This audience loves “wine mom” culture, humor that borders on inappropriate, and small ways to wear their personalities on their sleeves.
Challenge: My client wanted to release a line of gift sets for different occasions and milestones. This “RIP To My Twenties” gift set was the first in the planned product line, and needed to set itself apart from similar products on Etsy through theming and presentation.
Solution: The tone of the description is a bit tongue-in-cheek, playing on the societal pressure of aging and the “I don’t give an F” attitude the target audience holds.
I put these ideas together and wrote a product description for a dramatic gift set with all the basic needs for a woman on the brink of her 30s: drinking wine and taking shots by candlelight while soaking in the tub.
The deeper benefit of the gift set is presenting an alternative for a day that many women quietly mourn, and allowing them to feel connected to their womanhood instead.
Results: The “RIP To My Twenties” gift set became one of my client’s top-selling products in her Etsy store.

Project: LGBTQ+ Business Week Instagram Post
Client: I Like To Dabble
Audience: Demographics are men, women, and nonbinary folks who were affected, or knew of people affected, by the uptick in LGBTQ+ violence in 2022.
This audience is inspired by uplifting messages, helping their community, and shedding light on the truth of the situation.
Challenge: My client was invited to promote the LGBTQ+ Business Week and asked to assist in creating a social media post.
The main objective of this post was to start conversations around the topic of LGBTQ+ violence in business and inspire action to help the community.
Solution: The tone of the post was decided to be direct and eye-opening, and packed with resources for the next steps the readers could follow.
The project required research into government statistics to understand the depth of the topic.
The deeper benefit of the post was to strengthen LGBTQ+ community bonds and encourage LGBTQ+ folks in business who were affected by violence to continue with their mission for more inclusivity.
Results: This post inspired many of my client’s followers to act in support of the LGBTQ+ Business Week organization.
